RIP    CircuitStudio

So after many weeks of trying to get an offical response from anyone at Altium, or Farnell Avnet (aka E14) it would appear that CircuitStuidio is dead.

Please do not buy any more licences people - it's dead. As in, no more updates, no more bugfixes.

Looks to me like CircuitStudio was a failed experiment, and E14 / Altium are too scared to admit it.

They should at least do the decent thing and stop selling licences and maintenance fees for it.

    Hi Kenny,

Can you back this up with a definitive statement from Altium?

"it's dead. As in, no more updates, no more bugfixes."

If you cannot back it up with a formal statement, then this is still just an assumption or hearsay, based on the fact that you have not seen an update for some time.

And, just to be clear, I don't use this product - I have no interest in it, but do want to see accurate information, not "opinions" when stating something is "dead" and will have "no more updates, no more bugfixes" (your specific words).
