Question to moderators

I posted a thread earlier today and it was rejected by a moderator. I would like to know why.

 

My thread is about a tool that I have developed specifically for use with Altium CircuitStudio, which solves some problems that users have repeatedly inquired about here and elsewhere. The tool can potentially be very useful for anyone working with CircuitStudio and this forum is the best place to inform about it.

 

My tool is free, non-commercial and open-source - and I mentioned that in my post. Anyone can fork the repository on github and improve the software if they wish to do so. I don't make a cent with it - I simply wanted to share something that fellow CircuitStudio users will probably find helpful. Why was this rejected?

    First of all, thank you for your contribution.  It appears to be posted now.  Realize though that the traffic for CircuitStudio is pretty light, here and in other forums.  This means that not many have an opportunity to test and comment on someone's submission. 

     

    Of course, it's always up to the user to verify the output of their tools before committing to fab.
