Bug (not solved): Circuit Studio loses focus (jumps to another window) when select an item to edit

I read that CS is slow for any updates and bug fixes, but this bug MUST be fixed asap.

CS loses focus and drop me to any other windows on my Win10 after I select an item to edit from popup. I didn't found a specific pattern when this behavior begins, but it's too often.

It's not possible to work with this annoying bug at all (not to mention that these popups are annoying itself - see below).

VIDEO attached.

When do you plan to fix it?

PS

About annoying popups...

Why should it give me popup with everything around my mouse when I clearly stay in the center of a specific object on the specific layer with zoom of "half" of my screen - e.g. on the via  that is the size of my head when zoomed on my 32" display.

WHY this popup? (which will afterall kick me off CS to another windows on my WIN10)

Hi Oleg. Sorry you are having difficulties, I cannot promise when Altium will fix but can offer some suggestions.

Even though you might be zoomed in on a via the dialog shows because there are several items under the cursor where you are clicking. The dialog is CircuitStudio's way of helping you select the object to work on.

It may help if you make use of the object filters as filtered out objects get ignored and so the dialog will get shown less often as there are considered to be less overlapping objects. Another option that may also help a little is single layer view mode.

I wanted to write you in my initial post that I know about filters and shift+s. It doesn’t help in case of tracks only, where track consists of multiple pieces on the connection to the via or pads. Example with via was just to show you how absurd is such behavior with popup. My 15-years Layout 16.2 from which I, unfortunately, decided to move to CS, has no such problems at all and I can always select what I want without any hassles with popups. Tell me, does this behavior of Cadence products protected by some patents so that Altium and affiliates cannot do the same smart?

What is Altium roadmap for multiple bug fixes?

I see a hotfix for DigiKey API has been release.

What about serious bugs like the one from this thread?

If you do not plan to continue real support for this product, then you should notify the public about it and no longer sell new licenses. Treat this as a kind warning for now.
