I want to move the coordinate origin of the PCB freely

Hello everyone.

The origin of the PCB is fixed at the bottom left of the editing screen after create a new PCB.

Fixed origin

The PCB expands and contracts starting from the bottom left-hand corner of the editing screen.

However, movement is restricted as if caught in something. I prefer to edit with the board in the centre of the screen.

I do not believe this is a bug, but simply a configuration issue.

Can someone please solve this problem?

Thanks,

Hi. Not sure if this is what you are after but you can manually set the origin.

Thanks alijaki, I got the results I wanted by combining your advice.

    1) Home -> Board Shape -> Move Board Shape

    image

    2) Home -> Grids and Units -> Origin -> Set(in the lower left corner of the board)

    image

The problem is solved, but it is strange that the board cannot move freely within the editing window.

Anyway, thanks for the helpful advice!
