Unable to create a new symbol for .SchLib

Hi.

I want to follow this guy - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2gVBJspVliM 11:03 - to make a new "symbol" for my new component.

But, i dont have this "edditing" are a(green) on my Altium.

    Seeing as you've not had a response from anyone in two days! I'll respond.

    That's an Altium 17 video. CircuitStudio is a different product, so I don't expect it will have the same functionality. That said, options shouldn't be greyed out as a permanent reminder that you purchased the cheap product. It's not very customer-focussed.

    In any case, you can ask Altium directly - the contact is jamesharrimanaltium and Altium will receive an e-mail directly if you tag them in this way.

    Although it's crazy that you've had to wait two days for someone to step up and respond. Despite it being new year time, people are still around : )

    Please note that this guy is probably some student who keeps people busy with his stupid questions on many forums. I offered him links to videos about AD. He hasn't even seen those because he doesn't want to watch them.
