choose my silk text, hide unwanted text?

I was hoping to make two sill layers, 1 for designators and one for board info. but I can;t see to figure that out. I do not want to show any designators on the board but also not completely remove all silk print. I do want the   designators shown on the print out but not for the PCB manufacturing. Also my DRC is mad at where I put the designators.

If so, I'd recommend moving all your designators to your Assembly Text layers. An "easy" way to do this is to select the Top Overlay Layer in the bottom bar, then select Single layer mode in the top view tab. Then select every designator and hit F11. This will bring up your PCB inspector. Then you can select the layer dropdown in the PCB inspector and change all the selected objects to the Assembly Text Top layer at once. Then repeat for the bottom layer if applicable.

When generating your outputs, you'll just have to open the PCB prints configuration, right-click in the list area, and insert your assembly text layers.

Yes this is what I'm trying to do but was not sure  how to move the denominators to the Assembly Text  layer. Let me try these instructions.
