Why are my mechanical layers missing?

Hi,

I'm trying to work with some mechanical layers on my PCB, but I can't find where to enable or disable them.

I've read that the "View Configurations" > "Board Layers and Colors" is supposed to look like this:

Where you can enable and disable all of the different layers, but my menu looks like this:

It's like none of the mechanical layers are enabled. When I uncheck the "only show enabled mechanical layers" box, nothing changes. Any tips on how to enable mechanical layers?

I know nothing about Circuit Studio but saw this:

if display of the sheet is disabled – by disabling the Display Sheet option in the Board Options dialog, then the linked mechanical layer(s) will also be hidden.

Hi,

I don't think this is just a matter of turning on mechanical layers - the entire dialogue is missing, and your system colours dialogue too. When I disable all mechanical layers I still get the dialogue header (Layer, Color, Show, Enable etc.). I think either CS 1.5.2 or the project is broken.

Is this just with one project or is it like this with everything?

This is with everything. When I create a new default project with a new default PCB, that part of the dialog is missing.

That really doesn't seem right, especially the System Colors options, I can't even think of why there should be an option to turn them off?

Have you tried a re-install of CS 1.5.2?
