Circuit Studio Trial - No Email(s)...

Hello,

   I have been requesting the trial version of Circuit Studio for four days now.  No email(s).  No Spam either.  Can you please forward this to someone who can help.

    If so and it's still not working send a note to software@element14.com, provide details on where you are based, and a software specialist from our technical team will follow-up with you ASAP.

      I left a message about the Vault program throwing an exception.  Thought your programmes might want to look into the issue.  I am going to put a hold on getting CircuitStudio till this is fixed.

      I would be happy to test any fixes that are developed.  I really like the software, but will wait to buy till this is fixed. 

     

      I did get the trial through that link.I never received the license file through the automatic system.

    PS:  I am using a laptop with 12G of RAM.

    I have the 30 day trial...gone on the 13th.  I think I may have found a bug in the Vault program.

     

    When working with it to get parts, it frequently throws an exception fault.  The exact fault is listed below:

     

      "Unhandled win32 exception occurred in DXP.exe [3740]"

     

    I dug a bit further and got this:

     

      "Exception at 0x7721d193 in DXP.exe  0xC0000025"

     

    It seems to be a jump to no place (0x771de8d4).

     

    I was planning on buying CircuitStudio till I found this.  If there is a fix that I can test that would be great!

    I will have to put on hold my purchase till this fix is in place.  I am looking forward to a patch, other than

    this issue, I liked the product!

     

    Has anyone else seen this issue occur??

    Hello,

     

       Just curious about the error I found.  Since you are touching the Vault code, maybe a look at the UI would be possible?  I think of it as data that I can drill down in to and then return to the "big picture".  Using ENTER to dig in to to the data and get to a lower level, with greater detail - like prices....  I don't see the issues I have seen in the Vault program, in the rest of the software.

      It's been a few weeks and I was wondering if there is any update on the issue(s) I mentioned?  I am keeping my projects on hold till these issues are resolved.
