Vault Items Very Difficult to Navigate

I am looking for a USB surface mount connector. The vault returns this:

you cannot resize the columns in this view. you have to click the categories button, and then manually uncheck about 100 parameters which are totally irrelevant, then you can actually kind of see the results from your search. then if you click on one - you usually find its not what you want. then there is no back button to the previous view. the back button at the top goes to your previous search, not the previous page of results with your 100 manually unchecked boxes.

this is really pretty well useless.

there's got to be missing search tools on this CS version - there's no way anyone can use this database viewer as is.

i've had some luck with the vault only if you already know which part number you're looking for. then about 30% of the time the vault has a component. this just isn't good. the vault contents must be useful, but if you cannot search them effectively they are use less.

At the VERY least a select all / select none check box for the sorting / column selection would make this process better

The interesting bit about this is the Vault and version upgrades is what they're expecting people to pay out subscription fees for.

So far I've seen zero tangible improvement between 1.2 to 1.3, and the vault as you've noted is close to useless.

Even though the subscription cost is pretty low, so far it isn't delivering much real value.

And then when you've selected the view you want, the next time you search you have to edit the check boxes once again. VERY Frustrating...it really drags out the time it takes to search for a part...and then I tend to make a new part for my library on my own. It's not much of a time saver.

This is very pour as you say and the vault seems somewhat lacking in content.

I paid full price for Circuit studio when it came out, I did not do the updates for the software yet as the update came out a couple of days after the price slash etc etc I was excited to get this product and 'do like it' but I seem to spend quite a bit of time entering parts into libs. and updating and adding libs seems a bit tricky.

Anyway I still have access to the vault with no restrictions. So you don't have to pay for updates as far as I can see.

I will do the update when I find out howto?

Does anyone else share libs for circuit studio?

Thank you for raising this issue. This will not be in the 1.4 update of CircuitStudio but is logged for consideration in a future version, to display the same amount of columns as for a single component.

One more vote for fixing this ASAP. Very frustrating, makes Vault totally unusable.

I see exactly what mflux_gamble showed in the screenshot at the beginning of this thread when I do a search in 1.4. Just try finding any component in there...
