Retrieving supply chain info crashing CS

Today, I am finding that when CS attempts to retrieve supply chain info on any part, it is causing a full freeze in CS for about 2-3 minutes.  I tried a full reboot.  My internet connection is fine.  There needs to be a network timeout on retrieving supply chain info.
