Spam spam spam...

I signed up to Element 14 a week or two ago for support on CircuitStudio, and now my inbox is jammed with junk mail every day, covering topics nothing to do with the software.

What is your age?

What is the best method to learn electronics?

Eh? 15 yesterday, 13 the day before. Have I signed up to a general electronics forum by mistake? Most forums only email topics you are actively following, not everything.

You can quite easily control which notifications you receive by changing your user preferences:

Hey Robert,

To explain what happened, we recently changed it so new registrations would automatically 'follow' the general Members area on the community because it's where we post a lot of general information and we wanted to make sure everyone saw it. Unfortunately, depending on how your notifications were set up you may have been inadvertently flooded with emails you didn't necessarily want.

This was not our intention, and apologize for any inconvenience. We have since disable the automatic-follow feature.
