Nets Become Disconnected When Aligning Components

I may be doing something wrong but this has always been an issue. I'll assign nets to a component and if I move the components by clicking on a single component and move then any attached nets move. If I use the align tool then nets get left behind. Any way to get around this issue?

You can select how things work when moving components with the mouse but I believe the align commands do disconnect pins.

Altium have not yet released the roadmap that was mentioned some time ago so we do not know what to expect. However this could be a feature that would actually be more trouble than it's worth - I'm thinking of all the cases where it will mess up otherwise good and near wiring. Agreed if they could provide an option to disconnect or drag (like they do for manual movement) then it would be a good idea. Altium do monitor these forums so... Altium will you please add this as a feature request.
