On August 7, 2018 Altium's Jason Howie wrote in the CS Documentation area of Altium's website that the clipboard panel is an essential feature of CS (as it is in AD17):
CLIPBOARD PANEL ACCESS
The Clipboard panel is open by default and can be accessed by clicking the Clipboard tab on the right-hand screen border. If the panel has been closed, it can be reopened by restoring the default desktop layout: View | System | Desktop Layout » Default.
View and apply Clipboard content for all design data types.
However, I cannot find the Clipboard Panel in CS1.5.1 build 13. It does not pop up when I open the default desktop layout, and I have not saved any other desktop layout that would screw up the default one.
A tab for the Clipboard does not appear along the right hand border as Jason suggests. However, the familiar Libraries tab does appear on the upper right hand border in the customary 90 degree orientation.
Who took my Clipboard panel?
To be honest, I'm not sure I've seen my beloved Clipboard Panel since I installed CS a month ago.
