Part placement freezes the program

Hi All,

When I want to place component, either by click Part icon or press C shortcut, the CS does not show any dialog window. It starts to respond to any user input. I just hear a sound of "denied operation".

I use version 1.4.

I've been using CS for two years and this happens for the first time.

 

Does anyone have an idea what might be the reason for the wrong behavior?

    I am sorry for a little mistake.

    It stops responding to user input (not starts).

    The only think I can do is probably to stop Circuit Studio from Task Manager.

    Hi Lukas. Not sure what is happening if it was working for so long unless a software update to the operating system or similar has broken something. I would suggest trying to install again (you can install alongside your existing software by choosing a different folder for installation) or try resetting everything (when you run the uninstaller it given an option to clear all settings rather than remove the software).

    Hi Peter,

    that's what I was planning if nothing else helped.

    Now it seems working, though before writing this post many ideas like program restart and complete computer restart did not help.
