As many will be aware there is a maintenance subscription element to CircuitStudio licenses that can be renewed annually. Whilst active it allows access to newer versions of software and once it expires your license will keep working but you can no longer access newer versions of software until it is renewed. Renewals can be ordered either using the in-app Renew Now button (requires credit card ordering) or via the Farnell/Newark websites for the maintenance extensionmaintenance extension.
Once your subscription has expired the Renew button option disappears. We recommend that you either renew in-app prior to the expiry of your existing maintenance or simply renew from our website at any convenient time (either prior to expiry or any time after expiry has occurred). Altium's current policy is that there is no penalty for late renewals - you get the full 12 months and it is not back dated to the previous expiry.
