Green light with HIOKI 9743 optical sensor

willemijn
willemijn over 4 years ago

Can I measure the optical power of green light (~510 nm) with the HIOKI 9743 optical sensor? Or do I need a correction factor for this as this sensor measures wavelengths between 380 - 450 nm? Thank you in advance for your time!

Sorry for the terribly late response (somehow we did not receive a notification about this question).

The HIOKI 9743 Optical Sensor is not the right sensor for 510 nm. A suitable sensor would be the HIOKI 9742 which goes from 320nm to 1100nm. Bear in mind with the 9742 that it is only suitable for up to 50 mW while the "narrow-band" sensor 9743 is suitable for up to 100 mW.

Hope this helps and again sorry for not responding earlier.

    Kind regards
