Possible to use SW100# Multiplexers with non-Hioki Instruments?

I'm curious if it is possible to use non-Hioki meters with the SW100x series multiplexer units. I'm looking at an application that requires performing a test similar to a diode-test functionality, I have a test script programmed in a Keithley DMM unit. Additionally, I want to use a BT3562A unit for measuring ACIR. This needs to be multiplexed across multiple channels. I'm curious if there is anything preventing utilizing the Keithley DMM through the "Terminal 1" port of the SW100x multiplexer and the BT3562A through the "Terminal 2" port.

That needs a careful study of the datasheet and the internals.

I've had a quick glance and it looks as if it should work but I'd check with Hioki if I were you.

This extract from the data sheet "SWITCH MAINFRAME SW1001, SW1002" looks promising but you need to check that you can control the bus relays as you need to.

Interesting question... Let me check that with my colleagues at HIOKI in Japan. Bear with me for a little, please...

First the disclaimer: HIOKI doesn't guarantee in any way that using the SW100x series with 3rd party products will work. Also, the technical specifications of the SW100x have to be maintained - especially in terms of (generated test) voltages and frequencies. Keeping all that in mind, you have a good chance that you can make your plan word. Where are you located? Because in my view the best thing is to try this first with a demo system. Let me know at kai[at]hioki[dot]eu.
