In July 2012, Honeywell announced the new HumidIcon HIH6120/6121 Series which offers a leaded SIP 4 pin package that allows for use in applications that require remote sensor mounting, such as in probes. The SIP 4 pin package is also mounted above the PCB, which enhances accuracy by minimizing the effect of PCB heat and allows increased air circulation around the sensor. These new products offer the same industry-leading Total Error Band, stability, and reliability as the HumidIcon HIH6130/6131 Series launched last year, providing customers with the lowest total cost solution for Industrial and Medical applications.
