I've been following the below tutorial, but while I can get the Edison to see my BT Speaker, it will not see my phone from the [bluetoothctl] app.

I've turned bluetooth off and on, and been looking for a while about this issue. I'd like to be able to use my phone to debug if I have a system crash on my project, by sending serial date to my phone. I read one thing that some manufactures or something may block 0x00 devices, but don't know the details, or if that's relevant here: much less if there was something I could do.
If you have any input or experience on this, I'd appreciate it, because it may be a month or so until I can get some other equipment to read info from, and I'm kind of trying to do one of those review things on the Intel Edison.
Thanks for your time!
