    Hi Mike,

Is the F1 kit suppose to consist of 16F1937, XLP version ? Because my customer saw the below note in his kit.
ATTENTION: This version of the F1 evaluation platform is populated with non-XLP PIC 16F1937.
    Pls advise. Thanks!
    Regards
    Kevin

    Hi Mike,

    Hope you are doing well.

I was wondering about running MPLAB in Linux. I have both a Pickit 2 and a Pickit 3 and I was wondering if it is possible use them to program my projects while running MPLAB in Ubuntu 10.04.

Does Microchip have any plans to port MPLAB to linux?

Any suggestions on how I could make things work without having to resort to a Windows setup would be appreciated.

    Best Regards,

    Jorge Garcia

Jorge ,  we have no immediate plans to release a version of MPLAB that runs under Linux - but it's under discussion - please keep asking the question though . Regards , Mike

    could you help us

    we make more test

and is the pic who lost the signal in OC1 and put all impuls in OC3

if we put out the coil who was connected at OC3 we refined the good signal on the two OC
if we deconecte the  coil attached to OC1 we have change in OC3

we have 1 optocoupleur and 3 darlington transistor to isolate the pic from the "bobine"

    Hi,

We're developing a new circuit to control ignition and flame of the water heater burner. that means MCUs' software has to fulfil 60730 Class C safety software requirements.

    We're using

    - PIC16F946 as Safety controller and SPI communication master.

    - PIC16F77 as Safety monitor/supervisor and SPI communication slave.

both MCUs share information about the safety field sensors and its own status in order to shut down gas valve case of any default detection or misunderstood between MCUs

In order to warrant reliability and safety in communication and to avoid collisions, some "guru"s propose to add a signal from the slave to the master MCU to notify when it is ready to send/receive a 8- bit-packet.

Do you agree that solution? any other proposal?

Does Anyone know bibliography about this topic?

    Thanks in advance....
