Can we replace an NXP PCA82C251TDPCA82C251TD by an MCP2551-I/PMCP2551-I/P?
I checked the data sheet at NXP and the one at Microchip and I'd say yes the microchip part is a suitable replace ment. It has the same pinout and electrical characteristics, and even has slightly better maximum ratings.
