At the metering Europe conference in Vienna on September 22nd, Freescale demonstrated a Home Energy Gateway (HEG) reference platform. The HEG reference platform will be available in Q4 2010 and will enable fast development and time to market for a variety of value-added services around the deployment of the smart grid
