Hi to all. I need to make some experiments with ultrasonic sensors, in large part related to the Meditech project, where instead of detecting the distance in the air I need to receive information on internal structures. Is there a specific way to setup the same kind of sensors (e.g. parallax) or different frequencies are used due to the different penetration effect?

most of my needs is just to focus what I should search for. You started to clear me the fog on what kind of things I should search; then the term "sensor" is also incorrect as the search addresses on hundreds of distance ultrasound sensors. Now I am investigating on the different frequencies adopted but as far as what I saw until now, it seems that the body and internal ultrasound probes uses the same frequency of the distance on-the-air measurement. I should focus what is the differencing parameter.
And searching on the China suppliers too
