Panasonic Industry Europe introduces FN series as all-in-one low ESR Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors

Whether in automotive motor or control systems, industrial power supply solutions or countless other applications: Performant technology coming in slim and miniaturized product designs seems to be more state-of-the-art than ever before.

For meeting those specific requirements, Panasonic Industry Europe just launched the FN series, a low ESR Aluminum Electrolytic capacitors Surface Mount Type. Thus, it’s the latest member of the already successfully established product family offering large capacitance.

Available with a wide voltage range of  6.3 VDC to 100 VDC, the FN series offers re-markable capacitance values (10µF up to 1,800µF), which are up to 50% higher com-pared to other low ESR lytic capacitors on market.

“With 2,000 hours lifetime at a rated temperature range from -55°C to +105°C and low ESR feature, the FN series is the ideal solution for a vast number of contemporary appli-cation designs”, says Yusuke Nagata, Team Leader of Capacitors in Product Marketing department at Panasonic Industry.

The compact design contributes to space saving on the PCB . The low ESR charac-teristics render the latest capacitor series suitable for a wide range of industrial applica-tions in the field of automation and measurement, for automotive components and charg-ing infrastructure and – last but not least – for modern and slim-designed smart home infotainment and control assets.

Vibration-proof variants of the FN series can also be supplied for a size a of Φ6.3 to Φ10. With a vibration resistance of 30G, a smooth board design in demanding automo-tive applications or harsh industrial environment can be guaranteed.

All part numbers are RoHS and AEC-Q200 compliant.
