Lytic meets Polymer
Combining the advantages of aluminum electrolytic capacitors and specialty polymer capacitors
State of the art devices require a compact design and high performance characteristics. Especially electrolytic capacitors have been continuously improved to achieve low ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance) values as well as low leakage current properties. This technology is limited to its ESR values. A combination of electrolytic and polymer unifies the advantages of both.
The Panasonic newly developed hybrid technology (introduced as V-ZA series) brings together low ESR characteristics of the specialty polymer capacitor and the low leakage current of aluminum electrolytic capacitors. The V-ZA series shows a compact design, high reliability of the specialty polymer capacitor and the safety of the aluminum electrolytic capacitor.
Features for your application:
Downsizing and weight reduction
ESR values equivalent to specialty polymer capacitors
ESR reduction up to 90 % compared to aluminum electrolytic capacitors
Reduction of mounting space area up to 60 % compared to aluminum electrolytic capacitors.
Power saving and stabilization of operation
Leakage current values are equivalent to aluminum electrolytic capacitors. This level is a reduction of up to 75% compared to specialty polymer capacitors.
