The Problem

The accidental contamination of Food, Beverage and Pharmaceutical products by foreign objects and debris can lead to enormous costs (both financial and in terms of brand damage) associated with expensive product recalls and any related manufacturing downtime.

The Solution

In order to mitigate against this risk, Panduit has introduced a line of Antimicrobial Metal Detectable Nylon Cable Ties and Mounts that are easily identifiable by metal detection equipment, and are embedded with an antimicrobial agent which has been independently laboratory tested to inhibit the growth of bacteria, mold and fungi on the surface of the cable tie itself in accordance to ISO 22196:2019 & ASTM G21-15 standards, meeting U.S. Food and Drug Administration HACCP* standards and the European Union (EU) hygiene monitoring regulations.

The Panduit range of Antimicrobial Ties and Mounts provides a triple defense against contamination.

  1.
