I had the opportunity to attend the STMicrolectronics' Tech Tour in Newport Beach, California. By way of summary, the ST Technology Tour is where experts presented seminars and demos on a variety of electronics technologies in markets poised for rapid growth in the coming years. It was an opportunity to expand your knowledge and network with your peers, while experiencing new technology demonstrations from ST and its partners.

If you did not have a chance to attend, I include below links to the slide decks of the seminars presented at the event.

Next Wave of Specialized MEMS Sensors for Industrial Applications
MEMS sensor innovation and technology has taken us to the point where we can detect all manner of ambient energy with the tiniest of devices, and employ the data in useful, if not critical, applications that help us perceive more, perform better, and stay safer.

Thermal MOS InfraRed based presence and motion sensor
The STHS34PF80 sensor has been designed to sense presence based on the absolute temperature of objects within its field-of-view (FoV).

New generation of industrial pressure sensors with Qvar
ST’s pressure sensors are increasingly being used in smartphones, tablets and wearable technology such as sports watches, smart watches, and fitness bands, enabling accurate floor detection and enhanced location-based services.

Opening new interaction possibilities with gesture recognition features Based on ST FlightSense︎ Time-of-Flight sensors
ST's new gesture recognition feature for ST Time-of-Flight sensors opens new possibilities for enhanced user interactions. This brand-new turnkey solution comes in a simple package that will dramatically reduce design times thanks to its intuitive GUI and ready-to-use example code. Custom-made for the multi-zone VL53L5CX sensor, it enables hand tracking, swipe, tap, push/pull, and many more.

Secure Remote Debug and Secure Boot for Connected Devices
Device-to-cloud security and connected device manageability have to be re-thought to make the IoT successful. The transition from unconnected to connected products has uncovered fundamental issues with how software is built for microcontrollers.

STMicroelectronics' Edge AI ecosystem - From project to product in a few steps
We will introduce ST’s edge AI development platforms: Cube AI and NanoEdge AI Studio in the context of an Edge AI project. This presentation will highlight the necessary steps for product development built around Edge AI on STM32 platforms, and the solutions enabled by ST tools.

STM32 Complete Wireless Solutions
During this presentation, we will guide you through our STM32 Bluetooth LE 5.2+ (Audio, Thread, Zigbee, MATTER), LPWAN (SubGHz), cellular and ultra wide-band solutions. With our growing portfolio of devices and SoC’s, your wireless IoT needs can be served with the same industry-leading STM32 ecosystem.

Wireless Charging for Low Power Applications
This session will present the new turnkey wireless charging solutions from ST, focusing on low power applications. Starting with an overview of the market, we will continue with an outline of our Wireless Charging ICs.

15kW Bidirectional PFC For Industrial and EV Charging Applications
Learn how this reference design can apply to AC-DC and DC-AC applications based on a digital platform, optimized for power conversion. It is well suited for the Active Front End (AFE) stage in high power charging stations, industrial battery chargers and UPS.

Compact 45 W USB-PD adapter design with VIPerGaN50 and STUSB4761]
A GaN-based AC-DC VIPerPlus solution with 45 W single-port interface, the VIPerGaN50 increases efficiency and power density for compact AC-DC converters up to 50 W. This session will focus on how it can be used in conjunction with the STUSB4761 to achieve an extremely compact single-port 45 W AC-DC USB-PD converter.

Simplifying motor control with the STSPIN32G4: integrated Cortex®︎-M4 microcontroller and BLDC gate drivers
In this session we will show you how to simplify control of a vacuum cleaner motor with a single controller and gate driver solution, using the new STSPIN32G4.

NFC Wireless Charging
End users can now benefit from innovative applications thanks to NFC, such as device pairing, authentication, and parameter setting, thereby improving product user experience and convenience. Taking a new turn, NFC technology is now also enabling wireless charging.

Great set of applications.  Thanks for posting.

I'll have to find some time to try the gesture recognition with the VL53L5CX time-of-flight sensors.  It's great that they have developed an EVK with example code.
