LQFP Adapter for STM8 Programmer ?

Hello all,

could anyone recommend a SMT8A Programmer Adapter for off-circuit pre-programming of

LQFP32 ( 7x7mm ) and LQFP80 ( 14x14mm ) MCUs.

32 Pin (Package LQFP32)
- STM8AF6266T (alt STM8AF6166T)
- STM8AF6246T (alt STM8AF6146T)

80 Pin (Package LQFP80)
- STM8AF51AAT
- STM8AF619AT

Recently we can only programm the MCU using ST-LINK when already soldered in a circuit.

What sockets can i use without damaging the MCU ?

Any comment is welcome.

Hi Goetz,

One of our techy guys asked me to pass this on,

He recommends that you modify your design to utilize the SWD programming method

Hello all,
unfortunately the above answers did not really solve teh problem. A better idea anyone ?

If following Alistairs recommondation ( which we are tending to ) we still need a ZIF socket for that LQFP32 ICs.

Any Ideas ?
