Hi Frank,

Yes, the STM32 flash can be used for data storage. I'm guessing that you are specifically asking about EEPROM emulation, so that the data can be updated while the application is running? If so, again the answer is yes. The STM32 is particularly well suited to this, as the flash is divided into small sectors, providing great flexibility for the user.

Taking things a stage further, there is an application note, AN2594, explaining how to implement a wear-levelling scheme. You can find it here: http://www.st.com/mcu/familiesdocs-110.html.

Hi Sam,

One more question for you: Who is supporting this card? STM or 3rd party?

I tried to lean NXP LPC21xx a while ago. The board was made and supported by 3rd party. I found some issue but never got the help I looked for...
