LPS25H: Low noise pressure sensor from STMicroelectronics

ST’s LPS25H new pressure sensor measures wide pressure range from 260 to 1260 mbar which is equivalent to 10 000 meters max (above the Everest Mountain) and 1800 meters below the sea level when device is used as barometer.

Its high accuracy allows the user to detect an altitude change in centimeter and therefore enhance indoor/outdoor navigation.

Calibrated at 3 temperatures and 2 pressures for better sensitivity and accuracy, LPS25H doesn’t require any external compensation software to correct measurement errors and keeps power consumption extremely low with different configuration possibilities. It consumes only 25 µA max in High resolution mode and is housed in a very small package (2.5 x 2.5 m²)

Tools available: Daughter board STEVAL-MKI142V1 compatible with STM32-based MEMS motherboard STEVAL-MKI109V2
