Features & benefits of TS507:
ST has recently introduced a high precision single op-amp, the TS507 which is a good compromise between high precision and price, compared with most precision op-amps on the market. This device features an input offset voltage of 25µV typical (100µV max), thanks to a digital trimming adjustment method using standard technology (see graph 1).
Moreover, while many op-amps’ suppliers guarantee the maximum value at mid input common mode voltage, the input offset voltage of the TS507 is guaranteed over a wide input common mode voltage range, VCC- to VCC+ - 1.2V. This is a great advantage for most applications where the input common mode is often different from the mid point (especially in non-inverting configurations).Other features designers will benefit from are:
- High open loop gain: 131dB at 5V
- High CMRR: 115 dB at 5V
- Low noise: 12nV/VHz at 10kHz
- High output current: up to 120mA in short circuit configuration
- High stability: able to drive up to 600pF without any oscillation (while sourcing/sinking current above 2mA)
- High ESD tolerance: above 5kV (Human Body Model)
Application information for TS507:
Among the designs that would benefit from using the TS507 are applications requiring high precision such as signal conditioning in resistor bridges, sensors, medical and industrial instrumentation. The TS507 is also automotive-grade qualified over the full temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
Features & benefits of TSV911/2/4 and TSV991/2/4:
To address the growing market of battery-powered, low voltage applications, ST has launched two new families of operational amplifiers, the TSV911/2/4 and the TSV991/2/4. The new CMOS-input op-amps are a combination of low offset voltage, low input currents, high merit factor and very high ESD tolerance (above 5kV human body model).
While consuming only 780µA typical at 2.5V the devices provide a gain bandwidth product of 8 MHz for the TSV91x family (unity gain stable for capacitive load of 100pF and 10kohms resistive load)) and 20MHz for the TSV99x family (stable for gains equal to or above 3 for same load conditions).
When driving capacitive loads of more than 200pF, a small serial resistor on the output will make the device stable for capacitive load up to 1nF (see graph 2).
- Low input bias current: 1pA typ, 10 pA max
- Good precision: 1.5mA max (for A version)

- Low supply voltage: 2.5V to 5.5V
- High slew rate: 4.5V/µs (TSV91x) and 10V/µs (TSV99x)

Application information:
The op-amps’ low power and reduced die size make them ideal for battery-powered, compact portable applications where board space and low current consumption are major priorities. Their improved precision as well as their ultra low input bias current is perfect to address sensor signal conditioning. Both families are automotive-grade qualified over the full temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
