Designed for low-profile power distribution units requiring small form factor connector with high current, the ET power connector is a low loss, highly reliable and cost effective solution for cable-to-pcb applications.

title

The ET Power connector series offers a unique feature of integrated coding contacts, which allows different electronic functions such as sense to be designed into the power distribution unit, with activation on full insertion of the cable connector. The cable connector uses crimp contacts from the industry proven “Standard Power Timer” range with current ratings starting from 20A with 2.5mm² cable.

Contacts accepting cable with a cross-sectional area of 4mm² with a 35A rating are also planned. TE Connectivity's ET Power cable connectors are available in trays with contacts on reels for customer assembly or fully assembled to specific customer requirements. A unique feature of the ET power series is integrated coding contacts which allow different electronic functions such as sense and enable to be designed into the PDU electronics with activation on full insertion of the cable connector.

title

A right angle pick-n-place PCB mount version, which stands less than 8mm above the PCB, is currently available, a vertical mount version is also available all options are offered without the coding contacts if required. The cable connector has a positive latching mechanism providing no accidental un-mating even with pull forces up to 100N.
