Unique coplanar board-to-board connector! Working rather like a staple (although a bit more sophisticated), the TE Connectivity' Press-Fit Frame Connector (PFFC) is a truly unique board-to-board solution. Printed circuit boards can be connected in a coplanar fashion, with the convenience and speed of Press-Fit technology. Available in 20 and 24 position, these connector can also be used in series for greater pin count. See the presentation images below for an example of the PFFC in use; using a combination of the 24 and 20 position connectors for a 164 position PFFC for PCI ExpressCard applicaiton.
