Has anyone had problems with Traco DC-DC TEN15 2422WI converters not starting up correctly with no or low loads
Does it work with rated load?
TEN5-2422WI starts all the time as long the input voltage is within the specifications and no short circuit is applied on he output.
With no load or less than 10% load the converter may provides a higher ripple and output voltage is due to the ripple less stable.
The datasheet specifies output load regulation from 10% to 100%. Below 10% do not give any specifications.
If your load is less than maybe a TEN3-2422WI is the better choice.
