XP Power announces three families of low power, isolated and regulated DC/DC converters.

 

In an industry standard metal-cased DIP-24 package measuring just 31.75 x 20.32 x 10.40 mm (1.25 x 0.80 x 0.40 inches), the converters offer 8, 10 and 12 Watt output models with a 2:1 input voltage range. The DIP-24 format makes them suitable as a low cost drop-in replacement or a power upgrade in existing end products; saving the need to re-design the PCB layout.

 

The JCJ08 and JCJ10 series are rated at 8 and 10 Watts respectfully while the JCG12 is rated at 12 Watts. The units offer the wide 2:1 input voltage options of 9 – 18 VDC, 18 – 36 VDC or 36 – 75 VDC, covering the nominal application voltages of 12, 24 and 48 VDC. Single output models are available with an output voltage of 2.5, 3.3, 5, 12 or 15 VDC. Dual output models offer +/- 12 or +/- 15 VDC outputs and +/-5 VDC for the JCJ08. The outputs are regulated to within +/-0.5% over all input conditions and to less than +/- 1% for all load conditions. The JCJ08 and JCJ10 models provide an input to output isolation of up to 1,500 VDC for 1 minute. The JCG12 series is rated to 1,600 VDC isolation.
