Here in the UK there's not much happening in terms of shows near me, apart from Southern Manufacturing & Electronics which is not too far, but it's not till February next year. It's also not very fun compared to Vegas : )

There aren't many in the UK similar to DEFCON that's for sure.
The closest I'm aware of are SteelCon and EMFCamp, I suppose at a stretch there's Maker Central. When it comes to cybersecurity there's of course the more regal 44con, though 44con is very more business focussed.
