Finding a buyer for proximity switch ( Inductive / capacitive ..) cirtcuit ?

MOUSSA

I intend to make the internal circuit for the proximity switches without the outer shell (nickel-plated brass housing).

How / Where  can I find a company that makes sensors  and looking for a subcontractor to manufacture the electronic part of the sensors ?

I think that if you can show your competitive or unique design to investors or a company (that would not cost them a huge investment to produce and market), you could find a taker.

If it is not competitive, but a neat design, you may be able to show it when applying for a job in such a company. It could make you stand out in an interview.

i ´d say first use the Farnell search for "proximity Sensor" or related terms, which will give you a list of manufacturers,
then identify suitable products and get to design your prototype....this starts the development cycle which we all know can be tedious and wil ltake many iterations.
on production partners, I have good experiences with Aisler.net (they make all my pcbs for element14presents projects) and I also got boards assembled there fore client projects.

    Also,

Reliability!! (and trust!). If you don't respond promptly, then it doesn't give a warm feeling to people you might want to do business with. Being consistently reliable and prompt is way more important than some realize.

Really, you should have responded by now to the people who gave you feedback here.

I once knew a guy who had an odd policy of not responding to the first e-mail that people sent him, in the belief that if it was really important, then they would send a second e-mail, or would call his phone. He felt he was busy enough with important leads, and didn't want to waste time e-mailing unnecessarily.  Except that he frequently didn't answer his phone either. As a result, it was incredibly irritating trying to reach out to him, and I was not even a customer. I hate to think how potential customers felt!

He didn't last long at the firm...

I'm thinking the way we respond is a sign of the times.

I've noticed more than once at this site individuals make posts (sometimes desperate) and those that respond get no reply for days. It might be the nature of the site.

Online communication is not like face to face where not only the words communicate the meaning. I'm conditioned that if someone responds to one of my post I feel obligated (more like etiquette required) to respond.

I also think the pulse of the site is not monitored as closely by most. I check in anytime I am near a computer. Not for personal communication but rather interesting distractions.

I agree that it's a sign of the times in that the tempo of work is HIGH - at least in my small circles.  Every day is like the last day that a project is due.  It's like we're all trying to catch up from the lag of COVID.

I think the Community has more activity and I (unfortunately) have less time to check up on it.  BUT... I also believe that everything is cyclic.  I just don't know the period of the cycle.
