What does the X represent, datasheet only seems to call out M38510/12902BPA yet we have been ordering M38510/12902BPX for years and receiving them

M38510/12902BPX appears to be a part number for Precision Monolithics (now Analog Devices) or Raytheon Semiconductor.(now RTX)

M38510/12902BPA seems to be renamed something else by Texas Instruments
