which screens work with Pi Zero

e14 Contributor
e14 Contributor over 10 years ago

Does any one have any information on screens for Pi Zero? I'm looking for a touch screen, 2-1/2"to 3 1/2". I'm guessing some "wiring" is going to have to be done but a recommended screen would be a good start.

Thanks in advance :-)

Just a little hint, if you start your discussions as a question, you can mark people's answers helpful and correct, with gives them reputation points, and helps them earn badges.

    Hi Mike,

could you explain please? I did start the thread with a question. This is probably my first "forum" I've been on, or at least in a long time so please excuse my ignorance.

When you start the topic, there is a checkbox underneath the title box to mark the discussion as a question. Each answer will have a button to mark the question as helpful or correct.

    That's all.

I'm also not sure if you can edit it after the fact.

    Thanks Roger.

I have purchased a screen on ebay and asked the seller for drivers. I will post when I have good information.

That FBSPI driver seems to be exceptionally useful Michael. I've kept an eye on it's development but not really used it in anger.

Yeah, I thought it was 15 or 30, pretty sure it was past that point when I mentioned it. I so infrequently ask questions as opposed to answer, I really wasn't sure.

I'm not 100% sure what that means, but I like it.

Also, It's not a big deal, I don't really do this for the points, but I figured I'd point it out since he is new to the site.
