Anyone had their delivery date slip ?

Just got a follow up email from Farnell and i was initially down for the WC 26/3/2012 but now it's slipped until the 23/04/2012

Bit disapointed as since i'd have thought they shouldn't need 2 months even if it's being manufactured from scratch for my order.

We seem to be on a slippery slope. I ordered mine eventually by phone on the 29th at about 0815. My delivery date was March 27th. Received an ammendment to the delivery date pushing it out to April 23rd and last night another pushing it further to May 14!!. Would be interested in knowing just how many are being ordered.

Got one back today and it say 14th May - Blimey thats a long way away - I guess its worth the wait .

Raspberry Pi Delivery Dates from Farnell-element14 in Europe.

Sorry! We updated the data in our system so that new customers placing their pre-order would be advised of the delivery date at the end of May or beginning of June. If you originally had an estimated delivery date in March or April, your delivery estimate is still as per the original communication. Sorry for the confusion. We've updated our FAQ document as well and will continue to do so as we get more information.

Thanks for this - but, for clarity, many/most of us have had THREE different estimated dates now - in my case my original confirmation said W/C 26 March, then another mail arrived amending this to W/C 23 April, and finally a third amending it to W/C 14 May. I appreciate you're saying the May one was a mistake, what's not clear to me is whether my estimated delivery should be week commencing 26 March (original confirmation) or 23 April (first update email)? Thanks!

i ordered mine from farnell uk on 29/02/12 at 7:55 and my estimated date is 12/03/2012 and if thats correct i will be very very happy .

Ordered it Saturday 3rd March, and just got my delivey estimate as 14th May. I'm happy to wait until then, hoping that the people getting theirs before me will be able to impart a lot of knowledge ready for when mine arrives .

Sad to say, but I'm joining you in slipping dates- Ordered and was due for shipping 30/4/2012, got e-mail thru this morning saying 14/5/2012.
On the up side, the number at the end doesnt seem to have changed..... yet
