Logitech MK120 Keys Respawning Too Fast

Hi,

After reading on a wiki, the Logitech MK120 appeared under the "Known to work" category for raspberry pi. I promptly ordered it from amazon, as my previous keyboards did not work >_<

Now, I get the same error. I am at the boot screen, and the pi recognizes the device IS there. However, type a key or do nothing at all, and I'll get the error: "ERROR: Keys respawning too fast. Disabled for 5 minutes." or something like that.

Is there a way to fix this?

That wouldn't hurt. If you have a bad SD card bad sectors would corrupt different parts of the image so in one case they may corrupt something critical and in another case something obscure. It's usually best to stick to Raspian because it's the distro that most people use. There's also the NOOBS multi-boot image. All of these are at RasPi's Downloads page.

Since you have a voltmeter, I would check out the voltage across F3 as I described in the editing part of comment #17 above. If voltage is iffy, all sorts of bad things can happen including corrupting the SD card.

Since you don't have a working keyboard, this means you can't shut down RasPi safely before turning it off. This is an easy way to corrupt an SD card.
I used the NOOBS image, and everything works! Thanks!
