Instalacion adaptador wifi Netgear WN111 , S.O xbmc

He tenido problemas para instalar el adaptador wifi Netgear WN111 al raspberry pi el cual lo tengo con el openelec (xbmc) montado como S.O, me podrian ayudar a configurarlo. gracias

    Hola Guest,

     

    El Netgear WN11 por lo que tengo entendido es un dispositivo para Windows que no tiene drivers para Linux y tampoco publica las especificaciones de hardware con lo que no es sencillo hacer drivers para el.

     

    Normalmente la gente usa NDISwrapper para cargar los drivers de Windows en Linux, pero NDISwrapper no funciona en arquitecturas ARM - realmente los drivers de Windows no se publican para ARM con lo que NDISwrapper no puede mapear las llamadas de los drivers x86 a instrucciones ARM.

     

    Por ese adaptador no vale mucho la pena pelear, se venden por 8 euros en ebay, así que no merece la pena ni perder el tiempo con el.

     

    Lo mejor es que busques un adaptador soportado y te quites de problemas.
