I work on arduino and raspberry pi and many times i thought what if i could get the processing power of my laptop cpu for running the program. That's when I thought of creating a gpio board for laptops. I like to know your views on this topic, If  I get on to develop a usb  GPio pins for your laptops will you buy it?

Bravo to GF. Thx for the great Post. maybe we should change this Thread to "ACS" Acronym Coining Society. Great take on your version of USCDADNYC.

GF wrote>>...How does the fact that I live in the UK change the meaning of my answer?

USCDADNYC reply>> not that you use the following words but, In the US we go to "College" in UK you go to "University" In US we go to THE hospital, in UK you go to Hospital, In the US we go on Vacation, UK you go on Holiday. You UK'ers get screwed-up situations "sorted", etc. Luckily in Technical Terms/Acronyns we are in the most part in agreement. It is when we use Pronouns, Adjectives that we can diverge (in meaning). Then there is where we All, turn Nouns into a Verbs, ex: Text into Texting:

In the US, in Legal/Judicial disputes we apply "The Plain Meaning Rule" on Terms that are Ambiguous. BUT PMR in the US is /may-be Different in the UK? Context is Everything.

To GF (in UK): Sorry I confused you w/ REW (in Netherlands. In that I thought REW was the one desirous of the Nvidia video board. I am (re)posting (from another thread) here:

Was it REW (Roger Wolff) that has on his WishList the "NVidia GTX Titan X 12GB graphics card?" IMPRESSIVE! This baby costs more than my recent Win!0 PC's combined. A Intel NUC5i7RYH (w/480GB SSD, 16GbRAM) and a Homebrew GigaBit MoBo w/ AMD A10 CPU, Blu-ray & DVDRAM Optical Drives, 12GbRAM. I did save $$ on the Win10. A friend gave me a number of Win8 OEM Product Keys, which I parlayed into Win10 Pro. Such a Deal. I guess the Titan X is for Gamers, whom one I am not. Never played games on a PC, nor had any Console Games. I never got into it (gaming). I guess I Hated to Lose. Also when there were Gambling Junkets at Work (Los Vegas, Atlantic City), I would decline on going. Saying: "I only gamble at Love".

No worries. I have seen the card for £500, a steal at that price.

Darn it, after rereading this thread I want Chinese food again image
