I bought two raspberrypi b+

Both units will not "see" the wifi dongle...Yet in my old old raspberrypi B - the wifi dongle is seen and I am able to logon to the wifi network.. Is there a fix ? And, did the b+ get shipped with this problem?

When I hotplugged the edimax wifi unit...it crashed the raspberrypi B+ ...
so sounds like I need drivers...or this edimax don't work with this raspberry B+
Will look at the wifi adapter you suggested.
