Hi!
I thought I would share my project from this past year, currently taking a month or two break to reach out to those who might be interested in building one.
This is the "Jaccuracy Scope", a fully customizable Raspberry Pi based ballistic smart scope. Ballistics trajectory calculations run real time in the background at about 15 fps with inputs from a 9-Dof IMU and rotary encoders. This project is Python based and can be customizable to include more attachments as demonstrated in the video, I have gotten a Laser Range finder and a Thermal Receipt printer to work as optional features. Further expansion can be very easy for savvy Python coders!
I would love some feedback on the features side, as the Protobuild seen in the video is obviously not a great mechanical solution for now. I will be seeking improvement options for a better mechanical build this winter.
Long range target shooting can now be easier to learn with an affordable build like this, if you are in the hobby of long range ballistics/aerodynamics let me know what you think!
