Vote on Our Pi@Night Competition Finalists

imageThe lens cap is back on our Pi@Night competition now, in which we celebrated the launch of the new Raspberry Pi cameras by asking you to cast a creative eye over the waning sun and share your vision.

And you guys have a keen eye, as we've seen here on the Pi@Night Competition page, and over on Twitter.

So the next step is shining a spotlight on our top five twilight snapshots, each of which wins a both an 8 megapixel Pi Camera V2 and Pi Camera NoIR V2. The overall winner also lands a Pi 7-inch touchscreen, Cirrus Logic audio card, alongside the two new camera models, and that's where you come in.

Below is our short list of shutterbug splendour, and we'd like you to cast your vote to let us know which nigh time shot shines the brightest. You've got until Wednesday 25th May (a week from today) to do your democratic duty.

Thanks to everyone who's taken part, and we'll look forward to seeing all the artistic and creative ways you guys put the new Pi Camera to use.

That's all folks! Voting is now closed. Thanks for joining in!

If I didn't know better, I would say that the Boldt Castle is a model. But I have seen this one, for real, and the night image makes it look supernatural. Real nice job Douglas. Jack

    You're right.

They didn't have to be from a Pi, but there were bonus kudos if you did.

The Pi is good but there is far too much dynamic range and control required for most of these.

I am wondering what the new camera brings, and if we can have a competition using the new camera ... problem is how can you prove it.??

I agree the shots are great but I did see some others that were very good as well.

    Mark

Woo! I'm stoked to be a finalist! I've been working on an Arduino so far, and can't wait to get my hands on a Pi and a Pi camera.

Nothing like some HDR to make that image stand out.

    Well done Doug.
