This competition is now over! Look out for the opportunity to vote on the finalists on the 18th of May!

Get snapping for your chance to win a Raspberry Pi Camera Bundle Kit!

With the launch of both the Pi Camera V2 and the PiNoir Camera, we’ve decided to give away 5 Raspberry Pi Camera bundles, and here’s how you can win;

Step 1: Take a picture of a location, building or similar that looks visually stunning (during or after sunset)

Step 2: Post that picture on one of our social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, Google Plus) using #GetConnected

Step 3: Sit back and relax knowing you’re in with a chance of winning!

We’ll pick the five best images to win...but that’s not all!

The 5 winners will also feature in an online poll on the element14 Community where our members will vote for the supreme winner who will then receive another Prize which includes the 7" Touchscreen, Cirrus Logic Audio Card and both the new 8mp Camera and  the 8mp Pi NoIR Camera!

This competition is now over! Look out for the opportunity to vote on the finalists on the 18th of May!

    Hi Everyone!

    Sorry it's taken me so long to get my stuff together, but this morning I finally moved my nodebots code over to the pi! It works!! So what's going on is that I'm building a Nicolas Cage Nodebot. There's a node webserver running on the pi that delivers a webpage that then sends messages to the arduino to turn on a servo and blink an LED. I'm using the Johnny-Five library and it's all written in JavaScript. My repo is at http://www.github.com/pchinjr/sock-puppet and there's an early example video of it in action.

    Thank you so much to everyone who voted for me, and THANK YOU!!! to Element 14 for this opportunity. The next step is to get the camera working to add some more interaction to the front end.image

    Paul Chin seemed to have a last minute sprint and piped Doug at the finish line so congrats Paul.

    Sorry Doug. Last I looked (and I thought voting was closed) you were so far ahead that no one could beat you. Either way. Some great pictures

    Well done and thanks to 84 people who bothered to vote.

    Not particularily high given the number of applicants for the Pi3

    Congratulations everyone. There were lots of great entries in this different and interesting contest. Thanks to all the participants and all the members who voted, especially the ones who voted for Boldt Castle.image

    I don't think there is a method of rewarding members who voted for my entry, but If you leave a comment here I can provide a "Like"image
