Poll: Would you be Interested in Roadtesting Nordic's Thingy:53 and Edge Impulse's TinyML Solution together?

imageWe have been talking to Nordic Semiconductor about roadtesting their Thingy:53--their most current IOT prototyping platform.  Click here to read the product brief on it.

Here's more product information on the Thingy:53. click here.

Now, we wanted to combine a Nordic Thingy:53 roadtest with Edge Impulse's Tiny ML platform.

How does Edge Impulse's app work with the thingy:53?

"The nRF Edge Impulse app enables users to connect their Nordic Thingy:53 to their Edge Impulse studio account through a mobile device. It allows them to wirelessly transfer sensor data over Bluetooth LE to the mobile device and upload it to the cloud for training and download trained ML models to the Thingy:53 for deployment and inferencing. The app also acts as the GUI for viewing inferencing results from a running ML model."

Read this page to learn how to get started with Edge Impulse solution.

I would really be interested in evaluating another Nordic product. I'm presently road-testing the Nordic nRF9160 DK . and I have an application in a hackster.io for this product as well, but I have not heard anything. Looks like a very neat kit. It would be a lot of fun evaluating it.

I attended the previous webinar organized by Nordic Semiconductor regarding Thingy:53. I heard that the sensor for humidity, temperature and gas sensor with VOC is actually the latest BME688 3 in 1 AI gas sensor from Bosch Sensortec, this is perfect to do some amazing project and with the integration of nRF Edge Impulse app, it is more attractive as ever , only the flaw I think is absence of Wi-Fi. Definitely would like to get my hands on it and roadtest this product if there is chance.

Reminds me of the TI sensor device from many years past.

The Thingy:53 is quite new development board from Nordic and it has interesting sensors such as color & light, air quality etc. The built-in BLE based image can be used to transfer the sensor data via Android application to the Edge-impulse cloud from creating/training models. This is really interesting. Surely, I would love to roadtest this product.
