There are 5 people still to contact me with postal details, so I have a question for the group. Do you think there should be a time limit on claiming the kits? I know some people may have registered with a “spam” email account, so they will not have received the notification. Do we give them a week, a month or an indefinite time? I’d like to give as many people as possible the chance to test the kits, and obviously I couldn’t implement a new rule for this RoadTest. So I wondered what you think should be the rules for future tests?

DEAR ALISTAIR WINNING,

IT IS BETTER TO DISTRIBUTE THE PICKIT3 KITS FOR EVALUATION MAYBE A WEEK LATER, RATHER THAN DELAY IT FURTHER. MAYBE THE REST ARE UNAVAILABLE TO RESPOND TO YOUR MESAGES.

Hi Thomas,

Sorry, the matter was completely outwith my control. I was told that there would be kits available for the RoadTest ending, but by that time they had completely sold out and we had to wait for two different kits to come back into stock and get bundled. The fact it happened over Christmas and at a time when there is a delay getting deliveries just didn't help

I do try to have the kits on my desk before I start the test, on the Microchip occasion it just wasn't possible.

Sorry that test is over and all the kits were assigned. The Microchip demo I linked is giving 5 kits away to attendees in a prize draw.

Hi Alistair,

There is a problem with the webinar. I read the contents. And we are told to fallow a link and fill in the registration form to attend the event. But int the specified web page, you can not register yourself because event has not started. If we look ate the schedulated date for the event, we see that it will start at 19.03.2010 09:00 AM GMT and will end at 19.03.2010 10:00 AM GMT. This means that we will only be able to register after the event started. This makes no sense because every moment we are late to try to register ourselves, we will miss some part of the webinar.

So what you say ? What do we should do ?
