Excellent review as always Dave. You are rapidly becoming the Dr Karl of electronics (I suspect only BBC R5 and ABC listeners will know who he is)
This review really shows that the OLED meter you reviewed earlier was plain and simply a poor design. Nothing to do with where it was manufactured. This Fluke really looks like it has been engineered rather than put together by generic consumer design people. It looks like the range select switch is made from tracks etched on the pcb, which I always feel might pick up dust or moisture. It would be nice to see that as an enclosed switch. Not perfect, but I have no doubt that if I were an electrician, the Fluke would still be in my toolbox 10 years from now, quietly getting on with it's job (having used only 10 batteries or so!).
